Does anyone here remember Sodahead?

It was a a social site for a while. Profiles had photo albums and a music library. One day they just cut off everyone’s access. They now provide polling technology.

I remember it well, and many of the other members who there in the 5 years I participated on it. It was the first site of its kind I joined, and found out how addicting they can be.

@Piper it was a good site

Some names from the sodahead past - this link may take time to load (but it's worth it)

I honestly don't remember - could we block or mute users on soda?

I was Kwashka, btw... sukiesnow and I live in the same Ontario town but have never met.

@Sevendays I agree that it was, and none of the few I've joined since have been quite as good. In my opinion, I mean, of course.
@Piper

Were you on amirite, too? I'd go back in a jiffy if amirite and soda returned to the way they were.

@Piper agreed

@rinkydinkydoink I remember the first time I got blocked there, so I reckon we could. The difference on that site was that unlike this one and the one many of migrated to after we all got so unceremoniously kicked off...you could still see the posts and comments of those who'd blocked you. You couldn't respond, but you could see them.
@Piper

I forgot more than I remembered... :(

I reread quite a bit of my stuff on amirite a few hours ago (on The WayBack app) and was disheartened to notice I must've been drunk too often :(

@rinkydinkydoink Cool....thank you. Memory lane! I am reminded of how very much Sister Jean cared about that "Leaderboard". 😁

@rinkydinkydoink Yes. From 2015 until the administrators started making changes that resulted in most people leaving. It seemed as if they were trying to drive members off, really. I can't remember exactly when I couldn't even access the site anymore, when I wanted to look at one of my or someone else's old post.
