What's the most popular app for writing with friends online in the US?

I have always used Skype, but it's shutting down soon. In Ukraine we all use Viber. What about the US?

I want an app that's meant for RL chatting, that is also capable of sending different file types and doesn't compress sent images.

Never heard of Viber. Is that an app that can only be used overseas or can it be used in the US?

@twiigss I don't see how they would control who uses it, it's just a texting app like others. 😊

@Nightwings Oh ok, yeah wasn't sure because there's some apps in the UK we can't even access over here

@twiigss I see, I guess it could be the case, but you can get Viber for desktop too.
