Sure I have. It’s no biggie and similar to having a conversation with the checker at the grocery store or in line at the DMV. A conversation with someone doesn’t mean a life-long commitment.

It has happened to me as well and it has even happened during the chat. 🤔 It is discouraging but is likely because the account was fake in the first place so everything we think is pleasant and compatible is really just some sort of roleplay to the other person.

I'd rather get a cat, they may randomly ignore me...but they are always around
and when they are around, I can say anything to them without feeling judged

Why trust people that much? Having high hopes in people you don't really know is a risk that isn't worth taking.

Almost
I had some great ones. Thought I was making some good friendships a few times. Next day they either ignored me or blocked me.
It kinda stings sometimes.
One person we were talking like best friends for like 2 months everyday. Then bam, I'm blocked.
No answer why, just left me hanging wondering "Did I say or do something wrong"

People love to chat, they want to be able to be honest and say how they really feel, but they do not want to chance being discovered. One way is to change your identity often. New emails, new names, new everything.

Dont take it personal. They were probably on the verge of deleting it before you met, or they're on an emotional downswing which happens to the best of us. Seriously sucks though
Yes it's pretty normal actually
No one owes anyone anything just because you had a good conversation

Yeah, quite often

No, that sounds weird. I'd be really weirded out, especially if we met and this would happen. Why? Because it takes a damn long time for me to have a great conversation with someone online, let alone to meet them.

I feel they have a right to their own life.
