Reddit fitness ridiculousness

The problem is also with the site itself. As soon as you view something, the cookies left on your computer will give a hint at what you have visited, perhaps what you liked and that opens the doors to spammers and trolls.

Those sites perhaps assume that a girl watching a fitness post is more likely to want to watch those posted by men rather than those by women. Go figure how their algorithms have been programmed.

I totally avoid that site because it does not have the quality of SW for example and moderators on Reddit are very biased.

Funny how we look at something ONE time and end up flooded with recommendations.
Yet if we continuously block material we have never looked up, the algorithm does not get the message.

Like on youtube, every time some channel is recommended that is talking about that latest rapper scandal, I put "do not recommend" but it keeps coming.

For reddit, I read on there a lot but I do not have an account. I keep hearing about how quick they are to ban so why bother.

They aren't.

You just have some maladjustment where you can't leave people with different hobbies alone and for some reason get a sense of disgust.

Reddit isn't much better than this site. Nor is X.

You're better off on FB. Though they have some trollish people as well.

I haven't tried bluesky and have heard some good things about them. You might try there. They are mostly X defectors before Musk changed Twitters name.

I was with reddit for 4 years then I clicked on one Sunday evening and found that I'd been permanently banned.

The average man has all the intelligence and sensitivity of a fencepost.

Who knows.. my only fitness goals is just doing whats good for the heart now.
