I had someone on Facebook reach out to me on a public review comment on a resort post. Personable and then moved to WhatsApp later that day. And after she mentioned how great bitcoin has been doing since Donal Trump got elected, lmao! Red flags a plenty. Blocked her everywhere I could! Scammers are getting very unique
@SWUser123987 I think “she” reached out Twitter first. Then I thought “Looks sorta real.” Talked very easily and familiarly on WA till yeah…crypto investment scam attempt. Not falling for that lol. Getting better at playing the long game though it seems.
@SWUser123987 Oh yeah I get on hellotalk and of course the middle easterners were talking about the value of bitcoin going up. They are already trying to stage people to be scammed.
