I had someone on Facebook reach out to me on a public review comment on a resort post. Personable and then moved to WhatsApp later that day. And after she mentioned how great bitcoin has been doing since Donal Trump got elected, lmao! Red flags a plenty. Blocked her everywhere I could! Scammers are getting very unique
@SWUser123987 I think “she” reached out Twitter first. Then I thought “Looks sorta real.” Talked very easily and familiarly on WA till yeah…crypto investment scam attempt. Not falling for that lol. Getting better at playing the long game though it seems.
@SWUser123987 Oh yeah I get on hellotalk and of course the middle easterners were talking about the value of bitcoin going up. They are already trying to stage people to be scammed.
My daughter got a hat like his from the Pizza Express restaurant. She was over the moon about it. She got to colour it in and customise it as well, and they gave her a puzzle book 😂 I got a message from Vladimir Putin the other day. He was less polite than the chap in the hat. Vladimir told me that unless I gave him my bank account details, he’d fire his nuclear weapons at my house. How he got my email address I’ll never know.
@Oneofthestormboys omg I'm getting messages from Elon. I keep on telling him I can't hold any commitments at this moment yet he keeps on insisting we should work together. I mean, I'm a broke artist and I don't know either what's his expectations to get me investing into his business. Of course he does and he wants you to do him the simple favor of letting him wash his funds that don't exist through your bank account and then he'll reward you with 100 million non-existent dollars
I had one to call me early in the morning and sleepy me answered it lol. I disconnected it in 2 seconds though as soon as I realized it came from WhatsApp.
The other ones that have been reaching out to me lately on WhatsApp are mysterious women claiming to be American but they are everything from Colombian to Thai immigrants and they barely speak engrrrish
