I use it when I see something that made me laugh.
But I notice many people use it in a passive-aggressive way to tell you that you are ridiculous.

You know by the nature of the conversation.

However, I don't get why would someone put it on an obviously sad post and it pisses me off because there's no way to react back to them. I'm not going to tag them and call them out.
