Do you ever block people without giving them a chance?

Like you don't even take a second to find out what kind a person they and you just block them.

Personally, I think people like that are something else.

I mute rather than block.
If I'd rather not see someone or they angered/hurt me, I will mute them and archive our conversation so I don't get to do anything to do with them.

When I am randomly messaged by potential creeps, I check their profile, read some of the posts and comments and the 'about me' section. I might give a chance if I judge they are not so creepy. If their profile is suspicious, I block.

If someone straight out came with sexual advances, I block on the spot.
