I keep having this issue on ig with my new account

@SociallyAnxious Seems like a few social medias are banning and restricting a lot more.
Even this one, there are some words that will cause posts to be hidden, ANY word synonymous to "not smart" and probably a lot of others.

But yeah if social media wants users, why would they be so quick to ban or make things difficult?

It is hard to believe right now but there may even come a day when social media doesn't exist or is extremely limited, like the common people won't be allowed to even post.

I am guessing what happened or IS happening - at one time they were of course "Data mining" and selling all our info to companies. Well now that they have just about everything, there isn't much reason to give people free access to upload countless selfies and other bull.
They got everyone's info, sold it to any company that wants to buy it, and there isn't much left to sell.

@CestManan Hmm all I can think of is; new user to harvest, changing people's attitudes to get them to buy different things, or vote differently, raise awareness of new products, brands and marketing, new data, political and marketing influencing. It will shift as its mass media and dominates the traditional news, so it has power still

IG is banning via bot-mods apparently to be cheap. They probably want to scrape off fakes to get rid of troll, catfish, and political bots who give the site a bad rep. I don't honestly know though

@SociallyAnxiousSocial media is just toxic and seems to be getting worse.

Almost makes us long for the days when it was little more than people fighting and the occasional obscure advertisement.

@mooncrest02 My main account got suspended and whatever new one I create now isn't letting me follow people it's weird.

@disturbedchicken my main doesnt let me log in but the profile is still there and the next one wouldnt let me post anything at all. My sister begged me to make my 3rd or id be done w that platform. Lol
