Describe your tribe

From childhood on, I've always gravitated towards the misfits, the outcasts, the underdogs, the rebels, the hippies, anybody who dares to be themselves!

me myself and I - that's three people in one. Other than that I don't have a 'tribe'.

@zonavar68 Well if you're content in your tribe of three, then that's all that really matters 🙂

@Tumbleweed I suppose it depends how 'tribe' is defined. If I take it to mean 'family' then it's just me and my three adult kids and my 7 y/o daughter and my soon to be first grandchild.

I have extended family (nieces/nephews all adults like me) but they're all hyper-religious nutters and I'm not so there's never any contact and I don't know where any of them are anymore, plus I have a younger sister whom never contacts me and since having to fight her in court for some of our late mum's estate 2 yrs ago I will never talk to her again. So she's not in the 'tribe' of 'true family'. Parents both not alive.

The closest I get to a tribe that's not family is my work. I don't socialise outside of work with anyone from work though.

@zonavar68 By 'tribe' I mean the peoples you are most drawn to and feel the most comfortable with. Not necessarily family, and I'm sorry your family isn't good for you.

@Tumbleweed Ok right I understand a bit better. I don't really know how to answer that as I'm not really drawn to anyone being introverted and allegedly neuro-divergent. I'd rather be on my own if I can avoid interacting with other people.

@zonavar68 As long as you are content, that's truly all that matters. I completely get that 🙂
