Do you block someone when…

Do you ever block someone when they completely ignore you? I mean like never ever interact with you.

If they comment on your posts it’s to talk to someone else. If they comment on your replies on another post it’s to reply to someone else who has replied on your comment.

I just figured that I don’t bring any value to this person so I removed myself from them and having them avoid me.

Not trying to be dramatic or anything, just curious how others feel 🩷.

Being completely ignored hasn’t happened yet but if/when it does, I can certainly see myself becoming annoyed and there’d likely come a time when they’d get flushed down the crapper.

I’ve actually had sort of the opposite happen. Someone was initially annoyed by my reply on one of their comments so I told them not to worry, I wouldn’t bother them again. But I guess they figured I wasn’t so bad because they started to follow me around like a puppy positive emojiing my replies. Which I tolerated for a long while but then they started leaving dopey comments as well. I also noticed that they could be very nasty to others.

Well this is my fun/distraction time and there’s no need for me to keep someone around who detracts from that.

Down the crapper they went. 🚽

@OlderSometimesWiser I have had that too and it’s annoying and I will block for that. I got enough stresses in my life that I am not putting up with it here.

@iamonfire696 Well thank you. And I must say it’s been a relief not seeing that cling-on around anymore. I’m pretty certain they have a miserable existence which is unfortunate but that doesn’t give them the right to come here and mistreat others. The rest of us have our own things to deal with yet still manage to be civil.
