Do you block someone when…

Do you ever block someone when they completely ignore you? I mean like never ever interact with you.

If they comment on your posts it’s to talk to someone else. If they comment on your replies on another post it’s to reply to someone else who has replied on your comment.

I just figured that I don’t bring any value to this person so I removed myself from them and having them avoid me.

Not trying to be dramatic or anything, just curious how others feel 🩷.

I believe I blocked an older woman who does that. I noticed she did it to many women for awhile. It irritated me to see she was ignoring not just me, but other women who were kind to her. I won’t say why publicly, but it was clear why. You know how that saying about lifting other women up goes? Well this one ignored most women at that time who were trying to do that for her. That’s what made me block or mute her. Pretty sure I blocked her though.

@MellyMel22 You know sometimes we get those conflicting feelings where on one hand we want someone to talk to us and comfort us yet at the same time we want to tell the world where to go and be left alone? Would that possibly be part of it?

I imagine most of us have felt that way at times, of course most of us outgrow that.
Sometimes older people go backwards in their maturity though.

Of course I do not know who ir was or why, just speculating.

@HoeBag It definitely wasn’t that, she was only looking for assurance at least for that time area from men. She responded to every single one. She was prob close to my mom’s age, definitely older than you though she fooled others easily and I’m not even sure how.

@MellyMel22 I’ve seen a couple of women here who have a very negative attitude toward other women so I know the kind you’re talking about.
