Do you block someone when…

Do you ever block someone when they completely ignore you? I mean like never ever interact with you.

If they comment on your posts it’s to talk to someone else. If they comment on your replies on another post it’s to reply to someone else who has replied on your comment.

I just figured that I don’t bring any value to this person so I removed myself from them and having them avoid me.

Not trying to be dramatic or anything, just curious how others feel 🩷.

I only block if someone blocks me.
Also does the report system really work or is it just there as false hope. Because, most of the report system just tilts towards blocking the individual.

@DarkXtecy if you report someone for harassing you it will automatically block that person from you for 30 days. The report system does work.

@iamonfire696 well thing is I reported a post some time ago and it just gave me the option to block the person, so now I am thinking what was the point of reporting the post if it is offensive, like why even have an option like that?
I had a feeling though that the report system is just a scam.

@DarkXtecy because if that person keeps posting things against the terms or service or they are harassing people. They get banned, that’s the point.

@iamonfire696 but thats what my concern is, are they actually getting banned? Coz once you block someone, we never know about any update concerning the block individual, for all we know they could just continue making offensive post and we will never know.

@DarkXtecy well if you block them you won’t know until they get banned. If you go to your block list and they are gone you will be able to see that the account is gone because it will show up as SW-User on your block list.
