TikTok must be sold to a US company. Will this improve my feed?

My feed consists of:

Videos from the 1970s of Chinese soldiers marching
An attractive Chinese lady who dances like a robot
Dan McClellan explaining how the Bible is mistranslated
Videos of pro-Hamas rallies
Live streams of anti-abortion people
Live streams of Trump fluffers
My friend Jessica from Tennessee
The Lock Picking Lawyer ("nice click on one, nothing on two, feels like a false gate on three...")
Recruitment videos for the Air Force with the Ran-D cover of the Cranberries' "Zombie"

@LeahLovee I don't expect the feed to change all that much. What will change is that the state of your phone won't be sent to China anymore. The TikTok app queries your phone's state so often, having it can actually affect battery life, even if you don't use it.

@jshm2 None of that will change when a US company takes over. The only difference will be that the app's queries of your phone's state will go to an American company instead of the Chinese government.

The stuff I see on Facebook and YouTube is totally different. Same with Instagram, where half of what I see are videos of baby monkeys.
