There is group of people here that are very mean. They get off harassing you on multiple accounts. Had to block them on EP and here. They aren't cool kids though. Just legit cruel.

Agree totally... there are many friendly and cool people on SW, no need to be in a clique and if you aren't, join the rest of us and just enjoy the diversity of SW.

I'm just here to to share some laughs. Hopefully. Sometimes it's eye rolls. I've never been the cool kid. No reason to squeeze my way in there now. I'm happy with the awkward wall huggers

Its not an issue in itself, as you say, its the same in real life. But its a problem if a group of people begin to target and make fun of or bully another person here. Its happened to many here. One member of a certain group of friends sharing their opinion of someone with their pals causing a situation where they then target that persons posts and make them feel uncomfortable or threatened here.
Its very high school, but it happens sadly.

Eh, you're bound to butt heads with people. Last year there was a group of women who severely harassed a good friend of mine. I spoke my mind and got blocked. Not everyone is gonna get along on the playground.

There have always been a few little circles for sure but I never understood why it matters when we are all adults with a working block feature. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I just like being an individual and getting along with whomever I want. I wouldn't put up with hive mind nonsense. 🐝 But some groups are just friends hanging with common interests it seems and that's not bad. It takes all kinds.

I don't know about cliques, just people who have been on here for a long time making inside jokes or allusions on people's posts regardless if it's someone new or not. I can imagine how that might be unpleasant to newcomers.

There are cliques. There are wanna be trolls. There are gangs. It is a tiny piece of the world. It is the truth. You can accept it or not. Does not change it.

There are actually some funny cliques here. They make this site better. If a clique enjoys ganging up on people it makes this site worse
