@Hanginginthere freedom of speech and expression are human rights. Banning a social media app is restricting that right

@BigImo Absolutely not. First of all it's not a ban, it becomes one only it the Chinese government refuses to sell it. Secondly, shutting down a foreign operation that refuses to comply with national and international regulations has zero to do with freedom of speech/expression, unless we want to take for good the hyper-capitalistic view that businesses are people too.
