So....if you're to discuss certain topics here, you have to be armed with evidence to prove your opinions/thoughts. Otherwise, according to some others here (particularly the far left or far right) your opinions and views are not valid 🤔

The situation is actually worse than you've described it.

Even if you provide evidence from credible sources, some people will refuse to accept it because it's not what they want to believe. They'll deride your sources as "fake news" or too biased to be of any value. Trying to have a discussion with people like this is a complete waste of time.

@Rutterman That is exactly what happens. If it doesn't fit their world view, no matter if it's right in their face, it's "fake news. " I don't even bother anymore.
