In this case, I am guessing he didn't matter enough for you to reply quickly. There is nothing wrong with it. Your choice.

@Renkon It鈥檚 online. [b]This[/b] isn鈥檛 a dating site, yet that happens here. And everyone does [b]not [/b] have time to reply. There are people here with families, children, etc., who peek in here when they have a spare moment. They don鈥檛 owe some random stranger who decided to message them anything.

@bijouxbroussard Your point exactly. As you mentioned, their family and life matter most. And that should be the way too. It's ok for not replying in time. It's entirely upto the person to whether reply or not, in the first place.
We are all strangers here. And if someone blocks you, it should be ok. What is there for you to lose.? some chats with some stranger?
The issue is people are emotionally invested in this. That's where it hurts. To the person whose text was not answered, And to the person who got blocked. It's just a tiny bit of emotional give and take. If you can handle that, nothing is a problem.

@Renkon At least one guy is guilty of doing this serially, and what he does is, after the briefest of interactions if she鈥檚 not at his beck and call here, he calls her rude and blocks her. I feel sorriest for the women who go to the trouble of posting about it, because they think [b]they[/b] did something wrong. And the guy knows that he upset someone, which was probably the goal. Your advice
