Parents, at what age did you expose you children to social media?
My wife and I don’t use social media with our kids around and we haven’t yet decided when we are going to let them delve into this.

Social Media has become like Walmart and the Wild West. Parental Responsibility is paramount for the safety of their own Children, after all, they chose to bring them into the world. Responsible Parents don't allow their Children to go where you only have Adult Content. It's about Public Decency in front of Children. When you the Parent teach your Children in the way they should go, onto be productive Adults with Morals and Decency, you've fulfilled the responsibility that Parents themselves have for their Children.
Social Media only influences Children that aren't taught anything, if responsible Parents are teaching their own Children Right from Wrong, Social Media doesn't and cannot teach Children anything that Parents themselves don't want them to learn or perpetuate.

I was 12-13 when I went in on social networking on my besties computer.
I myself had no computer until I was 14. That's when I got MSN messenger.

It's better coming from you than their peers.
My child is aware of it. She often scrolls insta with me for cute pet photos, but she's 7. If we do allow her to get her own, at age appropriate, we'll monitor it until she's old enough.

My sister bought a computer for me that my late father and brother used , which was in my room, but I had yahoo messenger, when I was about 20 , but I had yahoo messenger since I , was 14, I had a laptop before the computer, I think I got it from my sister, I forgot how I got the laptop, I’ve been chatting online for a while, young and old, I would give advice online to some young people, but never had sex with them, I would have sex with older guys, online sex , never with young people
