Anyone else noticed this with NEW users

I have noticed that NEW users are not able to see all of the users on SW when they open their account. I am not sure why they are doing this.

When my friend started a new account I could see her but she couldn’t not interact with me.

I submitted a ticket and they told me this.

I have noticed this happening again with NEW accounts. All the legacy accounts (no NEW tag) can see the NEW accounts and we can comment on the posts but NEW accounts can’t see all of us.

I found this statement in regards to an algorithm in place to restrict contact between users.

I believe that they are doing this for NEW accounts. I have asked in another ticket but I was ignored.

Once the NEW tag is lifted that restriction seems to go away.

@Virgo79 We can see all of the NEW accounts and we think we are interacting with them but they don’t see us

@iamonfire696 I've always felt we wasnt seeing everything, surely theres has to be more here than we see.
It's kinda a farce

@Virgo79 certainly the algorithm affects what we all see but when we can’t actually interact with people that we can see that’s insane.
