Changing your user name…..thoughts on this

Has anyone here ever changed your user name? When you do it this comes up.

Please note that by changing your username, you will make your current username available for other users to take. In this case, you risk the possibility of someone else taking that username, who can then pretend to be you.

Would you be worried that someone would take your previous username and pretend to be you?

I am not thinking of changing my name but I was just wondering if you all think this is a concern?

Edit to add taking your name and posting horrible content like kinks, porn, etc?

I changed my name to express my devotion to my SW Mistress 🥰. I did make a post at the time announcing that no one should be fooled if someone else started using my previous username :) I kind of doubt if that's likely to actually happen, though.
