Changing your user name…..thoughts on this

Has anyone here ever changed your user name? When you do it this comes up.

Please note that by changing your username, you will make your current username available for other users to take. In this case, you risk the possibility of someone else taking that username, who can then pretend to be you.

Would you be worried that someone would take your previous username and pretend to be you?

I am not thinking of changing my name but I was just wondering if you all think this is a concern?

Edit to add taking your name and posting horrible content like kinks, porn, etc?

I changed mine. As much as i liked it, it just never seemed to fit like i thought it would .

I did keep my first one though. I loved that name . Was the first to use it.
It got stolen and used on intstagram (i think )- and that cheesed me off as i have used it for quite a few other sites.

Amd its why i keep this one. And will probably never delete this account .
I like my username, and will only allow myself to tarnish it 😁
