How can a stranger upset me?

It has been far more easier to communicate with men here but of course, not all of them. Women mostly prefer limiting it to post comments and that's fine. BUT...

Met a woman some time back who expressed way too much about her life on one of my post and then suddenly deletes all her messages.

When asked why, I get the most unexpected reply:

"Look, I no longer feel comfortable in whatever it is you're looking to do with any such information, or telling you anymore about myself. I've deleted my comments on your post. Can you please be respectful and delete the ones replying to my own? Please! Thank you in advance..."

What kind of a weird message was that? What am I looking to do???

If people are here to just burn some time, then it is absolutely cool. If you don't wanna share stuff, it is more than okay but when you are proactively expressing things, it is only respectful for the other person to acknowledge your message than to ignore you.

It took me a great deal to control myself from speaking unkind things that would have hurt her. Let's just say, it's not in my culture to be rude to someone.
