Yes, I do. I believe that we as a society were getting better and healing from 9/11, but then COVID-19 happened, and all the subsequent things in 2020 and it all fell apart again.

Change is a good thing. And even each decade previously is different. So will 2032 even if I am or not around.

No. We are divided about even the most basic things—our health and our very existence now. The combination of the Trump years and this pandemic has everyone fearful and hateful towards each other in a way that’s almost as bad as when I was a child.
