My friend invited my husband and I to a Superbowl party but he's bored by football
I told my hubby he could always sit in the kitchen and talk with the other wives lol! He gave me a look.

That was funny when you said that in your post. This is a great example of why the AFC and NFC championship Game is basically the end of the season for the diehard football junkie. Not a fan of people who don’t like football showing up to parties because it’s just a social event to them. Makes me Ill 🤢 actually lol @WendyLopez43

It's one step removed from boxing, and has tended to create the same end as Muhammed Ali in many football players.
When parents realize that their kids are more precious than being turned into the sad results of damaged brains...all for a spectacle which is supposed to be a *game*...smh.
Yeah, they have made some changes, but the $ factor keeps it running. If colleges ceased to be the farm system of football & basketball, that would help.
