LADIES: What is it that makes men so hypnotized by football? I can shake my butt in front of the TV and I’m invisible. I’ve actually watched to try and find the hook, but I can’t find it.
Although I’m a little late to this party, this is finally a question I can relate too. First and foremost as mentioned by Texchik for many of us guys, we’ve been watching and playing football since we were kids. It’s part of our DNA. Another part of why Sundays are so important to us is football is basically 1 game a week for 4 Months. Other sports teams play 2-7 days a week(baseball will at times have a team playing with no days off for a week or even two). So for me it’s like give me Sunday! I’ll watch from 1PM - 11PM. One other huge component is gambling. Football and gambling go well together. There is straight up betting and now with the online betting sites it’s even easier. Then there is fantasy sports. That’s extremely popular and one of my favorite hobbies. Keep in mind the talent level. These are the best in the world at what they do! Now all that being said, sex always takes priority. Can always hit record.
Well, this is a man with sort of the same question about my wife. Our weekend activities are scheduled around the football game, and she loves watching our team play...and I don't as much. I don't get it ...its seems the older she gets, the more masculine she gets with her interests. And the TV watching is becoming a problem
Most men played it as kids, many got into organized football and played for their HS or even college. Its the modern day gladiators. Most men enjoy it and will appreciate you more if you facilitate their ability to watch and stay out of the way. I take it as an opportunity to rest and get my things done, because when its over , they are going back to wanting sex...and I'll be ready! 😉
I can’t get into football or most sports. But I know women who love it, like my late mother. She could discuss football, baseball and basketball intelligently (the 49ers,Giants and Warriors were her teams) with anyone.
On the other hand, my best guy friend has no interest in sports whatsoever (and no, he’s not gay).
My guy is like this with his friends, lol. they get real into the game, but he WILL jump away for a moment to handle business then come back demanding to know what happened from them
I played as a kid, have watched all of my adult life... However, you shake your butt in front of me, I'll take ya and show you a good time, football isn't THAT fun to watch ;)
Of the ladies coming her to vent how many of you will wear lingerie and put you bare feet on his thigh while eating strawberries or something other during the superbowl ?
@StygianKohlrabi sure it matters but it doesn't mean it can't be worked out, but a lot of people just move on if it's not there from moment one. which is understandable. i ended up with someone who i liked from the moment i saw his face. i NEVER spoke to him but he found me anyway and spoke to me first and he was set that i was the one from his sights first too. I have NOTHING. he has everything. then we found out we had pretty much everything else in common. but he did say something about feeling i was a "kindred spirit" to him and feeling he needed to be near me if that matters to you.🤷🏿 how you feel is how you feel, either way. it's not your job to change my mind at all. you have every right to feel as you do.
