@beermeplease yeah some of the game I've seen on tv the stands look kinda empty

Yeah, as Midwesterners or even worse, if any Easterners, we have to deal with watching our teams (if State or City based) play out west and the start times (and finish).
I follow mostly Wisconsin-based NFL, NCAA, NBA, and minorly WNBA, MLB teams. Probably will care more about a specific WNBA team if we land a bid for one in Wisconsin in the next decade. Milwaukee did have a WPBL team, but only played two of the three seasons of its existence; it was called the Milwaukee Does. Hehe, get it? Does 😁Cause Bucks and Does.. ya know?
But man, that spelling vexes me... err! 😒
