{@burrnley123] ha ha ha not that burnley would ever be offered such a lucrative chance 馃槅 but joking apart i agree with what you say . as i a liverpool fan i think it is wrong what the big six are doing . you will not know what i am talking about here as you are not old enough perhaps to remember kerry packer . he formed a break away format for cricket and it was a stain on international cricket . all players involved from england where banned from playing test cricket for there country . i fear if these clubs follow through with this crazy scheme the same sort of penalty my be bestowed on them for this act of treachery

@smiler2012 My Dad told me a bit about the Packer thing. At least at the time, there was an excuse because cricket players were not well paid. These days, football stars are on mega-money and executives are on even more. It's gluttony on gluttony. Jabba the Hutt would be embarrassed.

@Burnley123 oh i agree with what you say . it is certainly fuelled by greed no doubt . if this falls through these six clubs will be in limbo . if the football league then admit them back into the football league there will be penalties put on the six rengade clubs . perhaps like rangers where where they where relegated yo the lowest tier of the scottish leagues . too look at it another way this would make the premier league more interesting if thease six where to leave . these clubs have been toop dominant for so long like rangers and celtic are in the scottish premier league. there departure would make the premier league a more open field i think

@smiler2012 Yes. That would be the natural justice thing to happen. It would damage the premier league because fans do want to see elite players. I would still back it though. I'd love the irony of the foreign billionaires trying to maximize revenue by creating an artificial elite and then having to play games against Shrewsbury and Northampton Town.

@Burnley123 tney would probably lose elite [players as they would not be prepared to play in the fourth tier of the football league .all it would be to these six clubs is when not playing each other would be like a third round cup tie . yes i do agree a lot of the fans of
the big six would desert going to matches at this leve l . no disrespect as one of the teams in the third division is close to where i come from . the big six may lose revenue with this relegation but in time like rangers where to strong for lower league opposition so within four seasons some will beback in the top flight again
Burnley12341-45, M
@smiler2012 Of course, the big boys would be back soon, like Rangers. The same happened with Juventus and Fiorentina.

Whether the FA and the Premiership would go through with this, I don't know. It's a high-stakes game of chicken.
smiler201256-60
@Burnley123 i suppose this is an act of treachery on behalf of the big six to english football at all levels. perhaps there would be other ways of imposing an handicap on these clubs as punishment . that is one for the football association to chew over
Burnley12341-45, M
@smiler2012 The government could fine them
smiler201256-60
@Burnley123 yes a one off big fine i do not thing that will really hurt these six clubs too much .as you say these clubs have rich backers with money to burn . which then poses another question would these fine make backers abandon ship
