The England Manager's job is impossible.
The richest football league in the world chose to buy and nurture foreign talent neglecting it's own because the bigger clubs wanted instant success and saw that as the blueprint to follow.
With questionable results.
I suppose you have to give the guy a fair crack of the whip.
I mean at least he wants the job !
But from the lacklustre stuff we've seen from the current crop occupying regular England places of late, hard to see what Tuchel can improve on unless he can unearth hidden talent elsewhere in the Prem that nobody else has thought to select before now.

I like Tuchel’s appointment. England lacked the tactical acumen for some time. Tuchel could bring that with him.
My only worry is how he intend to use Trent Alexander Arnold.

@Renkon There is no doubt that tactically Tuchel is excellent and he is of high stature.
He's also pretty flexible, so he might actually use Trent well
My only worry is how combustible he is. He's still be at an elite European club if he hasn't pissed people off.

Not just big shoes to fill for him but unrefined talent. I also see potential.

I'm thinking not many England fans would like to see a coach who is not from the UK

So much for Guardiola!

@MartinII I don't think Peo would have been good in a national team because he is too intensive and demanding. Not seeing players for two months would drive him crazy.

@Burnley123 I agree.
GeistInTheMachine · 31-35, M
I like New England.

Not convinced

I'll see what That's Football says about him and I'll report back
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@deadgerbil The dude hates Tuchel. I saw him whining when he was linked with the Man Utd job.
Mind you, he hates everyone and whines all the time. It's literally his job.

@Burnley123 Adam Cleary from Four Four Two approves of the appointment.
