England were awful

England were abysmal. Clueless. Useless. Boring.
The USA should have minced them.
Now it's all down to England Wales next week - and anything could happen then.
I know many English fans think, mistakenly, that football was invented in England, but the only thing coming home is the team, the fans and the hopes of a nation.
That was pathetic.

@wonkywinky So they should - they defeated a nation with a less than impressive football history and another with less than twentieth the population, while drawing with a nation where football is only a minority sport. Given our resources, we were terrible.
