Premiership top six predictions.

1) City
2) Liverpool
3) Spurs.
4) Chelsea
5) Arsenal
6) United

West Ham, Villa and Newcastle to be the best of the rest.

Fulham, Bournemouth and Southampton to go down.

Everton, Leeds, Brentford and Forest to also struggle.

What do you think and why?
Yulianna · 22-25, F
given the absurdity of a mid season break for a corrupt world cup, anything could happen.

English teams with many key players in semis and final games might be disadvantaged by fatigue and extra risk of injury.

so who, from the top six clubs is least at risk?

just the humble opinion of a Ukrainian soldier... and, for some strange reason, Spurs supporter.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Yulianna There are already too many Spurs fans on this website. 😜
Yulianna · 22-25, F
@Burnley123 🤷‍♀️ but this is where sad people congregate...
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Yulianna Good answer!
Harmonium1923 · 51-55, M
I’m excited for Spurs this year, but the fact that things are looking good also makes me nervous. This is what means to follow them.
Barny52 · 56-60, M
City and Liverpool then could be anyone in chasing pack, all promoted teams straight back down,, big clubs won’t let likes of Everton go down will gift them points !
LegendofPeza · 56-60, M
@Barny52 'big clubs won’t let likes of Everton go down will gift them points' - they did last year !
Barny52 · 56-60, M
@LegendofPeza im sure they did
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
I'm more curious if Vincent can put your boys back in the 1st division?
Of course... my primairy concern is that the canaries survive in 1st division...

GOOOOOOOOOOOO KANARIES 🐣
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@Burnley123 I hope he does well... I know from people that know people that worked with Vincent, that he's not really the nicest person to work with. But I still support the guy as a Belgian coach trying to make a career abroad.

He's a pupil of Pep Guardiola and looks up to him a lot. To a point that it even becomes some perverse form of worship at times. I just think that to play like Man. City you also need people that can make the miles and be sharp for a long time. And that was one of the big criticisms when he was over here, that this ideal way of playing football (according to himself) couldn't be approached in a pragmatic way. Anyway, I hope to see Burnley in the big leagues again next year. I'll look at it from afar. Most of my attention will just go the Kanaries cause my football love has it's limits. I'll watch the important games in England and the European competitions. And of course, I'll OD on the world cup. Cause it's the world cup.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Kwek00 Oh, hes' completely a Pep disciple. In his first game, he played last season's left-back and centre-back. It was very Cruffian Ajax/Barca and we played a high press with possession play. He has signed players to fit that mould and in *one* game, it worked really well with us winning 1-0 (but dominating play) away at a team who were promotion contenders last time.

Sean Dyche was our previous coach for years and he was the absolute opposite. He was very direct in the old-school British kind of way and very defensive. He was good at what he did though and kept us in the Premiership for years.

I appreciate your warnings and hear them. We will see how things go.
Barny52 · 56-60, M
@Burnley123 I think championship should be renamed yo-yo league with all the same teams going up and down each year , my favourite league to watch with good exciting football
LegendofPeza · 56-60, M
1) Liverpool
2) City
3) Chelsea
4) Spurs
5) Arsenal
6) Utd

Relegated ; Fulham , Bournemouth , Everton.
LegendofPeza · 56-60, M
@Burnley123 I can honestly see them struggling again. The club is an absolute mess , the fan base is toxic , and Lampard has got virtually nothing to work with there. And they just lost Calvert-Lewis for six weeks. If they can't keep him fit they're in real trouble.

And Chelsea won't be doing Frank any favours today like they did last season.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@LegendofPeza Tarkowski is a very good signing for them. McNeil is talented though obviously no Richarlison. They have some shit players but also some who are talented (for a bottom-half prem side).

I am not completely dismissing what you say because I don't think they are very good. I also have big doubts about Lampard's ability. I have them staying up, only because there are other teams that I can see struggling more. I think they will get about forty points and that will be enough.

We will see.
LegendofPeza · 56-60, M
@Burnley123 I'm with you on Lampard. I think he's pretty clueless tbh. If they get off to a bad start they'll soon be calling for his head. (Probably a good bet for first manager to get the sack.)
smiler2012 · 56-60
difficult too call really there could be surprise packages but until the season progresses who know . wen you get too christmas that is a sort of pointer to how the season will turn out [burnley123]

5. Newcastle - finally have somebody who understands football.
6. Arsenal
7. Manchester
8. West Ham

Ok that's 8 but I felt it was necessary to include Manchester in there.

@InOtterWords I’m going to Vegas this month and the only bet I’ll place is on Buffalo to win the super bowl.
Baltimore def has a chance though .
Havesomefun2 · 56-60, M
Only just made it last season lost players but never know
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Havesomefun2 Leeds fan?

I think Leeds have a decent coach and weaknesses elsewhere mean they should be *just* ok.

The league gets tougher every year and it's brutal.
Havesomefun2 · 56-60, M
thatscottishguy · 26-30, M
Where will Burnley finish though?
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@thatscottishguy Whaaay.

The Championship?.

Somewhere between the middle and the top. It's a hard league to predict.
thatscottishguy · 26-30, M
@Burnley123 Yeah not sure what to think. Good start but not sure it'll last. Watched the game against Huddersfield and couldn't believe my eyes. Burnley playing football will take some getting used to.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@thatscottishguy Kompany is a Pep disciple. It's the opposite of Dyche lol.
Ahem!
