Is it true that hydration breaks are being made in the World Cup games to comply with American advertising requirements?

They weren’t necessary in Qatar.

@BluntSm0ker Yeah. I certainly understand the altitude is an issue for the Mexican games. Love the Azteca stadium though.
Water breaks have been used at various tournaments since 2014, as far as I’m aware this is the first time they have been mandatory and at specific times. They're usually at the referees discretion but not in good old USA, got to scrape every penny they can. The price of tickets is absolutely ridiculous. FIFA have always been corrupt and now they have the perfect bed partner.
