Are you underwhelmed by this World Cup?

I am. Partly it's down to England's poor form leading into the contest but mostly it's about other things.

Clearly the WC should never have gone to Qatar. It has no population or football legacy and most probably only got the contest by somewhat dubious means connected with their wealth and FIFA's level of ethics.

Also, they used slave labour to build stadiums and a lot of people died. They openly discriminate against homosexuals too and have locked up critical journalists.

Also, this WC is sandwiched in a ridiculously short period in the middle of a club season. There are no warm up games and the players will be fatigued.

I will be watching it but it does not feel like the World Cup

Jk, no idea, I'll have to watch a few matches before picking I think. In general I tend to support the underdog that has a chance of winning against the big ones; last WC it was Croatia, in the Euros it coincidentally was us

Yes I am. I think the time of year doesn't seem right, it probably shouldn't be in Qatar and I'm not optimistic about England's chances. I wouldn't be too surprised if England don't qualify from the group.
