Is there anyone here who can remember the 1976 Tampa Bay Buccaneers?

Really rough year inaugural campaign.

After a game where the team had multiple turnovers and lost badly, the coach was asked what he thought about his team's execution and replied "I'm in favor of it!".

"We didn't block, but we made up for it by not tackling." John McKay

“We can’t win at home and we can’t win on the road,” he once said. “What we need is a neutral site.” Or, when McKay cut kicker Bill Capece at the end of the 1983 season, the coach quipped, somewhat callously, “Capece is kaput.” However, McKay’s most famous quote, bar none, was in answer to the question: “What do you think of your team’s execution coach?” To which McKay replied, “I’m in favor of it.”
When Coach McKay was asked about his teams execution, he said he was in favor of it!

0-14, playing in the Big Sombrero. Steve Spurrier at QB. Coached by John McKay, who was asked what he thought of his team's execution and said he was in favor of it (according to legend). TB had that fabulous Bucco Bruce logo and those creamsicle-orange-and-red uniforms - they should go back to those.
