I don't think they were cheated. There was a hairs breadth between the two teams and I think it would have been tough for whichever side had gone out.

Italy played some great football, congratulations, they deserve to celebrate.

England played an entertaining tournament, the don't deserve to have lost.

@BabyLonia Entertaining??!! Competent, even brave until the final, but entertaining? I’m not entertained when one of the world’s best strikers doesn’t have a single shot in 120 minutes.

@MartinII I don't think for a second, Southgate wanted to play as deep as we did in the second half, we just got forced back. If he had wanted to park the bus, why would he have brought on Saka for Trippier? It didn't work because Saka had a bad game. He should have brought Grealish on earlier and left Saka on the bench but whatever. Its fine margins and Southgate got most things in the tournament right.

@BabyLonia Perhaps I’m becoming difficult to please in my old age. I enjoyed Czech Republic v Netherlands most. Glad you enjoyed them all.
