Staying home tonight

Normally we have our support group and date night on Tuesday but Joel is still not 100%. He's feeling better but doesn't have much energy. I haven't slept much in a few days so we stayed home and made pizzas and s'mores while the kids and are watching the world series.

Joel is already asleep and I'm having some whiskey and a cigar with my buddy. I really hope I sleep tonight. I'm so tired and have a full day at work tomorrow.

Can I ask...What is your personal opinion on pitchers deliberately walking batters?
The Dodgers Ohtani was deliberately "walked" 4 innings in a row.
To me, it is akin to bad sportsmanship.
It is the same as when Football players "take a dive". Though that is nothing but cheating.

@Gusman I've never been a fan of walking someone on purpose. I feel like you should try your best to show you are better than the batter. It seems cheap to me. And I always hope the next batter gets a huge hit to make them pay.

But it's allowed and part of the game so I i guess it's ok. And he's just doing what the couch is telling him to do. He might want to face the batter but he's not given the choice. 🤷‍♂
