Its less smoke anyway

beermeplease · M Best Comment
vaping is still relatively new so we'll know more as time goes by. but pumping chemicals in ones lungs is never good. i smoked cigarettes for 24 years and glad i quit. i'll puff on the odd weed vape from time to time but nothing major...but like i said we'll soon find out more about the consequences of vaping as time goes by
@UltimateDemiGoddess thanks for bc.... weird thing is i got no notification you did so.

@beermeplease no worries!
Wallflow3r · 31-35, F
I used to smoke and would spit up black stuff, had shortness of breath, nasty coughs and sore throat..
but when I stopped smoking and started vaping instead, it stopped. I've been vaping
for 5 years now and have not noticed any negative health effects like I did when I smoked.
UltimateDemiGoddess · 31-35, F
@Wallflow3r Ive had the same experience. Thank you for sharing.

"vaping" is supposed to be the safer option. Not sure how true that is but I've done both and currently vape. Smoking is definitely harsher on your lungs.
Iwillwait · M
Not in the least.

Quite more dangerous.

The amount of Pulmonary and Cardiac issues found in youths that are reported Vape users is staggering. The metals and chemical compounds that make up these vapours are extremely toxic.

You can see a Smoker go for up to 20-30 years with little to no severe issues .

Vape has been around since like 2010-2011 with now huge documented case studies of severe medical issues.

Definitely not a "Safe Alternative," both are horrible for you, vape is 4 fold in it's ability to destroy you.
UltimateDemiGoddess · 31-35, F
@Iwillwait yeah man I'm addicted to vaping

@Iwillwait
The metals and chemical compounds

e-juice is mostly Vegetable Glycerin, Propylene Glycol (where are used in thousands of products you ingest daily) /w nicotine and a bit of food grade flavoring...

only people having health issues are the ones using the wax/cbd, etc. vapes (I don't imagine wax of any kind in your lungs is healthy...)

I don’t smoke one of the reasons why I don’t smoke is because I don’t smoke is because I like to taste my food but other than h that I don’t mind smoking if I could but can’t oh well
UltimateDemiGoddess · 31-35, F
@Monalisasmith86 that's a great reason

@beermeplease she's beautiful
Vapes have usually 3, (4), ingredients:
Propolene glycol (used in eyedrops, food, cosmetics)
Glycerin
Nicotine
.....and flavour esters

Cigaretttes and tobaccos have anywhere from 100 to 300 ingredients - many 100% toxic.

And for those that say "yeah, yeah, pleurisy.....
... lungs can evaporate a small degree of water from them.
They usually evap about 700ml from a healthy person in a day.

I dont know why people dont look this shit up.

To be clear - Vapes are not healthy.

One use vapes have a shit carbon footprint and few places have dispose of stations.

But all in all , when it comes to damage to a person's body - they do less than tailors and modern tobaccos.

Many use vaping to wean themselves off nicotine
@UltimateDemiGoddess that isn't appropriate language for my website

According to the NHS it is healthier than cigarettes, provided it legitimate, and contains no vitamin E acetate or ethanol

That said no tobacco use is safe.
And if you already have a lung disease, it's best to quit with therapy, nicotine replacement therapy and medication.
UltimateDemiGoddess · 31-35, F
@basilfawlty89 thank you.
None of it is good. Lungs weren't made for inhaling things other than air. Asking that question is not useful. It leans people to thinking maybe one of them is not quite as unhealthy when they both are.
UltimateDemiGoddess · 31-35, F
@froggtongue well asking opinions is another way I learn about opinions and perspectives.
@UltimateDemiGoddess my apologies. I suppose it wouldn't be entirely right to say it's not useful.
UltimateDemiGoddess · 31-35, F
@froggtongue no worries, thank you for sharing your opinion and concern.
Flower2006 · 18-21, F

@Matt85 makes sense. I vape too.
Matt85 · 36-40, M
@UltimateDemiGoddess i think the problems occur when people breathe more vape than they do air lol
UltimateDemiGoddess · 31-35, F
@Matt85 hahaha that would be concerning
496sbc · 36-40, M
neither is good at all unfortunately
UltimateDemiGoddess · 31-35, F
@496sbc okay
496sbc · 36-40, M
theres something about sucking moisture (vape) into your lungs that just screams pneumonia..
UltimateDemiGoddess · 31-35, F
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Unless you live in the middle of death valley with 0% humidity, you're sucking moisture into your lungs right now... 😉
