Yesterday, while I was a workin

I listened to a woman complain about how her oxygen dries her sinuses, how uncomfortable her CPAP is, how sure can’t sleep with the machine running, how much she hates not being able to breathe and how she demanded better care from her doctor because of it all. That she shouldn’t have to suffer like this.

And I’m thinking to myself, like sweetie, nobody forced you to smoke 2 packs a day for 45 years. I’m sorry you’re suffering but you did this to yourself.

The consequences of our actions does suck, but anyone in the healthcare profession who thinks that what someone else did to their body entitles them to take less care with patients shouldn’t be in that profession.

Just a thought, but are you sure it’s from smoking? There are people, such as myself, who simply stop breathing in their sleep for whatever reason. Just a thought 🤷‍♂️

Sounds like you are speaking to my step mom, who was lighting her cigarette with her oxygen bottle on and flowing out near the match

I don't appreciate people who think others around them owe them
