Day 2 of my 21 day weed fast is over.

I made it through the day despite struggling with cravings. Don't ever let anyone tell you that weed isn't addictive because that's a crock of shit. I've heard people say that a lot over the years to try and make weed seem harmless but it isn't harmless, it's just not as harmful as other substances. I don't plan to stop smoking weed all together but I do want to have a healthier relationship with it. I want to incorporate a 21 day break every 3 months so it's really important to me that I succeed at this. Moderation is what I am striving to achieve.

All of that being said, God I could just murder a joint right now 😂😂😂.

It's not addictive to me. Sometimes I definitely feel the need for it more than other times. But if I feel I need a break I just do it.

I used to work at a dispensary, so I'm aware it affects people differently. It's plant + body chemistry so there's no one size fits all like is easier to achieve with pills.

I don't ever feel addicted to pills people say are addicting either though.

All depends on the type of addition … wanting and craving is just a psychological the more I think the more I want BUT your body don’t go thru withdrawals and things of the sort… I know what you mean cuz weed is just fun and the key to chilling is to think about how nice it is when day 22 gets here hahaha

Good luck

@faery it’s all good and that’s fine but yeah maybe I was lucky and didn’t have those issues either way it’s non addictive

But Doritos are the best when sitting on nice hahah

@black4white Withdrawals equal addiction, though it's mild compared to something like alcohol or heroin

Doritos have too many food dyes and other additives 😝 I prefer regular tortilla chips

Hey! This is crazy but I am also on the first few days of a weed break! Doing all of February. We can do it together if you like?

First 3 to 5 days are an adjustment, for me, with both physical and mental withdrawal symptoms. After that, it's mostly just mental. Just be sure to take it easy when you get back to murdering it 😂

Depends on your definition of addiction.

1 is that it is hard to quit this is not the true definition in medical language

2 addiction means your body would suffer and with out a gradual withdrawal you would die. Medical definition

People can develop a psychological dependence on weed. Cannabis is not addictive in the same way as opioid addiction.
