Anyone here use CBD

CBD gummies? Do they work?
Just asking about the gummies. I take a lot of prescribed medicines. Not sure what the gummies actually do

CBD absolutely does something. The question is if it's what you want.

What CBD does is that it has a general calming effect, makes you a little sleepier, can help with anxiety, and can help with certain types of pain.

It's not a cure-all like some people advertise it. It's a relatively mild effect, but the effect can be extremely helpful for some people or just nicely chill you out. I take some when I just want to mellow our or have a better night's sleep.

It's indvidual how the effect will feel like for each person. The only way to know is to try.

The side effects you should be aware of that are common are dry mouth , fatigue and drowsiness.

I have a friend he gets extra strong anxiety the day after he's eaten gummies. Every time. But he still take it sometime cause during the effect his brain pauses and he can relax. But it costs him 24h of extra strong anxiety the day after.

So sometimes he avoid taking them for that reason.

He has CPTSD so it might impact him different that way too.

I ordered the THC kind and will find out on Tuesday, i read somewhere that THC as opposed to CBD gets you high. I recommend watching a few videos like i did when i chose to order, the biggest thing i believe is to start on a low dosage and wait till the effects kick in, it'll take up to a couple hours, a bad trip usually comes from taking more before the first bit kicks in.
@SW-User THC gummies are multiple times stronger than smoking weed. The potency is so much stronger than back in the day when I smoked pot.

Why not try the real thing
@Cigarguy101 I agree. CBD and THC should be taken together for therapeutic purposes, as long as it doesn't mean you'll lose your job because you'll be UA'd. Unfortunately, some people don't have that luxury.

CBD derived from marijuana is awesome. You can't try it a few times and say it doesn't work.

CBD is a plant compound that works with your body. If you take it consistently, you will notice less pain and improved mood. It's not going to be like an opiate or an Advil, it's going to be subtle and healing.

I swear by it.

I take CBD capsules. I had free gummies and the only difference I noticed is that they work faster. I take it for arthritis and to relax and it helps me sleep. There is a certain degree of hangover and if you take it all the time you have to take more. But I swear by it. It really makes a difference!

i tried it. it's pretty mild in it's action for calming/pain relief and can be expensive to take enough on a regular basis. that's an issue because it also takes a few weeks to see the total sum of benefits.

I tried some, but they didn’t do anything. I thought they were a waste of money.
I have some but don't think they can override the prescription medication.
What specifically do you want to treat?

Yeah a few times. They don't work for me

I would get a good brand. Not some cheap made stuff they sell at the gas station like smokebros or what not.
I have used Lazarus and MedTerra but only as the tincture and not gummies.

Also watch out for pure CBD vs full spectrum as full spectrum has some THC in it. So get the pure stuff if you are wanting to test the CBD part only. Or if you are allergic to THC or such.

And the effects are different for each person. It has a depressing effect on the nervous system and thus has effects like calmness and helping people to fall asleep. Some people report effects on pain as well. Those are the general effects.

For me it has an effect similar to Klonopin but without the side effects Klonopin gives me.
They make you slightly sleepy, and also reduce stress.
Do not trust over the counter/mail order/online cbd, it is made from industrial hemp, not medicinal Cannabis, it doesn't contain enough thc to become properly activated.
