Drugs and Alcohol

People often believe alcohol and drugs cause someone to be violent and abusive?

Do they have to already have these traits in them and drugs and alcohol bring it out more

Hmmmmm... I would imagine it's more down to personality and life issues. There's been plenty of documented cases of placid people who have had abuse in their life get angry/abusive/self harm with whatever they have taken.

I know a few drug users that seem quite nice and relaxed people, so it's not all cut and dried.

My fella takes steroids, for bodybuilding, and there's always been the popular misconception of, as they call it, 'roid rage'. Never the case with him; he's the nicest, calmest, sweetest bodybuilder (?!?) you'd care to meet.

Long story short...I'd imagine it'll depend on the individual.

😘
Drug users do turn aggressive, that is documented, & why i refuse to allow my daughter aderoll, or ridilin bc those are gateway drugs.

@checkoutanytime But if thats the case every person who takes drugs will be aggressive?
@JosephtheEmpath true! They do, is why ill take alcohol over Tylenol

i would say no as these two things if applied in enough can change the characteristics of a most placid person [josephtheempath]

@smiler2012 Yes it will bring out your true self

I’ve been hella drunk and high and not engaged in these behaviours

I think the intoxication is just unlocking what’s already there
