28 Days Clean

I will be 30 days clean on Thursday. I can't believe I actually am going to make it. I've been staying away from where I pick up, I've kept myself occupied, and I've completed the writing portion of the first step. I just need to go over it with my sponsor. He's really great. We meet once a week, and I know I should be reaching out more. I still go to meetings everyday except Mondays because of my work schedule. I've taken up a service position as greeter in one of my home groups, and I always help put away chairs or help set up. Things are getting better. And after this month, I will no longer be in debt. I'm only in the hole 600 dollars, but to me that's a lot of money. That's a whole week of pay almost.
My hair is getting longer, my perspective is getting brighter, and my acceptance is broadening. The horizon is bright, I can feel it.
