@exexec So that means about in another month I can go to my first knee appointment for evaluation and get my first knee replacement done probably soon after that. I can't wait!!

@LadyGrace I've had both knees replaced, and both were successful. One key is to faithfully do the rehab. It isn't fun, but it makes all the difference in the world.

What was rehab like? What did they make you do? Did you have to go to a building with special equipment for Rehab?

@LadyGrace I went to a special rehab facility with trained rehab specialists. A lot of it is stretching and gradually getting muscle tone back. The only painful part is when they work to get the knee straight. The first time it was pure torture, but the second time, years later, they had a kinder, gentler way to straighten the leg. I can bear a lot of pain, so the "modern" rehab seemed pain-free to me. If it is a good facility, they will fashion the rehab to meet your specific needs with a minimum of pain.
