Use an Aloe Vera based moisturiser 🙂

Get some lotion with hyaluronic acid in it. Apply it right after the shower for best results. For even better results, apply it while your skin is still wet.

@bijouxbroussard don't get me started. But seriously if you want a good recipe for lotion, I've got one. It's really easy to make. Lotion is up to 70% water and 30% oil and then there's some more you add to it which is , I know, more than 100%, but it works because you have to have emulsifying wax if you wanted to stay mixed and you have to have stearic acid if you want it to be creamy and you have to have hyaluronic acid if you want it to be deep moisturizing and if you're looking for a skin lightening lotion you want to add kojic acid. Also if you want to turn it into sunscreen you add zinc oxide I believe and if you don't want it to get moldy on you you have to add a preservative . I use phenonip., all of which can be obtained on Amazon. Or if you just want to get some hyaluronic acid and add it to some lotion you already have you can do that also. It's done by weight. About 2% hyaluronic acid is a good start. So whatever your lotion weighs, ask Google how much is 2% of that and add that much hyaluronic acid to it and mix it up. You might have to warm up the lotion first but don't go above 140° F because you might destabilize your preservative. Be sure to put it back into the Container while it's still liquidy or it will get messy when you put it in later

The oils I use are coconut oil, Olive oil, avocado oil, grapeseed oil , almond oil and mango butter.. also, instead of using distilled water, I have aloe vera growing in the back yard, so I use aloe vera gel instead of distilled water.. I don't use any essential oils but you can if you have any favorites like lavender, vanilla, Jasmine, something like that. 10 to 20 drops I guess. Some people put color in there is also. But I don't see what purpose it serves, so I don't use it.

Crap. I told myself not to do this. I should have just posted the damn recipe here LOL

Want to feel super-depressed?
While sitting in a chair press either hand flat on the arm then arch your elbow up so that the skin on the top of your hand kinda bunches a bit. Now pinch and lift some skin then release the grip. If your skin takes forever to spring back then you, my friend, are OLD!

🤣

@SW-User lol.. if you want to feel really old, instead of counting the years forwards from your birthday, count backwards. Like if you were born in 1993, instead of Counting 30 years to now, count 30 years backwards from 93 LOL damn it would put you just a couple weeks after JFK's assassination

I do that all the time with regards to music. Woodstock rocked the world 54 years ago but who gathered in a farmer's field in 1915 to jive to Al Jolson or Abe Elenkrig’s Yidishe Orchestra (pictured) - -

I've actually kept up with applying body oil and lotion directly after I shower so I'm doing ok right now but it's brutal out here.
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
Yes. I use body oil or baby oil. Both in the shower and after.

When my skin gets really dry I put pure coconut oil on my skin at night and by the next morning it’s much better.
AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
Coconut oil. I spread it every where in a hot shower. Keeps me moist 😂
Do you use lotion?
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
@Spoiledbrat It puts the lotion in the basket.
Seriously, yes, it's Gold Bond up in here.

Oh, gawd, I hate that about the winter months.
And we don’t even have snow here. It gets relatively cold, but not "below zero" type cold. 🥶
