Ever had tears flowing as a physical reaction to pain?

Not emotional. I went to this beauty centre and they did a deep cleansing facial. Gosh was it really painful! especially around the nose, lol. Tears were flowing like a fountain ⛲️ and the lady was wiping them for me with a tissue all the time. "Aw don't cry" she said but really I wasn't "crying" in the typical sense, haha

Yeap happens, whenever they do my eyebrows
SW-User
I feel ya. Though my brows are de-sensitized now. Think I might have killed my pain receptors there 🌚 @Nanori

Bruh when I get a Brazilian waxing 🥲
SW-User

The dentist got too close to a nerve with a needle and tears came out of my eye and he said something about me crying. Duh.
SW-User
Like, if he only was in your shoes 🤷🏽‍♀️

I told the lady if I had to rate the pain I'd give it 8/10 and she was like wow so it does hurt. Duh. @cherokeepatti

@cherokeepatti Same. I wanted to say the Dentist.
Yes. I “cry” whenever I get those facials too.
SW-User
They're cruel even for someone who has a high pain tolerance, like myself 😥@CookieCrumbs
@SW-User
Yes, they are.😄
I didn’t even flinch or cry when I had to get a big cut stitched close. But those nose facials, 😩
Each single time - both, invisible n invisible ones.

Cry baby here.
That's terrible.
Some massages--deep tissue-- will do that, or back alignment for pain.

I've had my vision grey-out in response to pain in post op care.
SW-User
Wow. To faint out of pain...that must be a frightening experience. @SethGreene531
@SW-User It's a little unnerving for sure, as your vision tunnels to a grey cloud.
The odd thing is the pain starts to vanish.
Still not something I want to repeat though.
SW-User
I imagine it's a coping mechanism. When the body can't handle the pain it goes into a subconscious mode. @SethGreene531
SW-User
If facial bringing so much tears I wonder what waxing does to you 🙄 you probably create a tsunami.
SW-User
No comparison 😂 I have a good level of pain tolerance for such trivial stuff.
Those facials are not like any other. They literally torture your nose, squeeze it and pinch it almost breaking the thing. All while closing up your nostrils and making you breathe in like a 100% saturated hot steam. Have to try it on ya before you open your mouth next time 🔪😈@SW-User
SW-User
@SW-User wow trivial. I'll run like a coward if someone tries waxing on me. I have low pain tolerance. ☹️

Well, I'll let you pull my nose hair if you go for a ride with me. 😃
Let's hope you don't have super long nails
antonioioio · 70-79, M
I sure did
I slipped rushing into the toilet one day at work
I fell and dislocated my color bone
I nearly died with the pain of it
SW-User
Wow. Sorry to hear. That's brutal. @antonioioio

Sutten · 36-40, F
Yes, when my braces was removed, it was just ripped off my teeth and tears rolled down my face.
Yes - just need to pull out a few nose hairs and I will shed tears!
SW-User
Turns out the nose is surprisingly sensitive! 🤥
@CheekyBadger

Involuntary tears, for me, usually happen when I become violently ill.
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
Massochistic b*tches 🤷‍♂️

Nooo 🙃🐣@Kwek00

@SW-User If you wanna be pretty, you have to suffer... that's what the women always tell me over here. Cwazy girls... cwazy.
SW-User
Correct. There & everywhere 👫 @Kwek00

I believe that I have but I can't recall.
I do remember having tears fall as a result of total shame or embarrassment.
It was strange because I didn't " feel" emotional but I had fallen in a public place and these tears just came. I wasn't so hurt right away although it was a dramatic shocking fall and the pain came few minutes later.
Wierd
SW-User
You see that reaction often in children 🥺
@REMsleep
I cannot imagine suffering like that just to look good.
SW-User
Lol that's women for ya 🤣
But honestly I didn't know it would hurt like that. Also it's a matter of having a clean skin more than looking good. @LordShadowfire
@SW-User There's this new thing all the kids are doing called soap and water. 😆

Okay, I'm done being a smart-ass now. Off to bed.
SW-User
Wish it was that simple. Not even close 😅@LordShadowfire

No not physical pain. I haven't done that since I was a kid. Emotional pain of losing a love one is what always gets me
