Yes ..I find great satisfaction in popping the pus bubble and draining it ...infections suck ...yet healing them is so satisfying

I actually have this now. Researched it because I don't recall injuring it (like in a car door) and found paronychia on the net. Iced it down for 20 minutes twice last night followed by soaking in a bowl of epsom salt with cool water. Reduced the pain significantly. Triple antibiotic cream (bacitracin, polymyxin, neomycin) worked well too. Feels better today but no luck after lancing it. How'd you get rid of yours?

Yikes yes but not nearly like that. I soak my hand in water as hot as I can stand it for up to 30 minutes and that helps to bring it up to the surface.

Make sure it's not infected & if it is get some antibiotics, you don't want to lose a finger or finger tip...
