You might not like "sex" and some people do find love-making it personally over-rated, unpleasant, meanlingless or needless.
Nevertheless the mating act is the natural reproductive mechanism for most of the Earth's animals - including our own species.
Flowering plants too, though of course needing the intercession of insects etc. to carry the pollen to other blossoms. I was rather amused to hear a biologist speaking on the radio, insouciently remark that "To a flower, a bee is a 'flying penis' "!
Yes, sexual intercourse and human sexuality generally are subject to terrible abuse, from rape as a war weapon to the mere fact of humans being male or female being used to excuse cowardly discrimination and "coercive and controlling behaviour" ( to quote the Law) - by one sex towards the other.
However, if you imagine a god invented all life you need accept that the same god invented sexual reproduction to maintain that life.
So being "pure" - i.e. rejecting normal human reproduction - is not being "holy" at all; just the opposite, really!
