I try to always listen, ask questions if I don't understand, try to be there even if quietly because sometimes that's what needed. I don't mean silence, I mean just be there to lean on.

I’m great at listening
Engaging and asking questions as well
(Some people say that I ask too many)
Ultimately, people confess everything to me
Luckily for everyone, I’m also really good at keeping real secrets

if someone is in distress i always try to help them figure stuff out, sometimes i refer to my own struggles
but only to try to help them

I would listen and try to help. But if it's a problem that's an ongoing saga for him, then I have to leave him to it.

I would listen and try to understand if I can. I would take them to a nice peaceful place where they can feel comfortable and talk.

I'd try to listen.. cook for them perhaps and put their feet in a basin with warm water and herbs. Try to sing to them maybe..:)

When our relationship ended all I know is neither of us really cared what the other was saying.
It was like the difference between an excuse and an explanation, depends whether your talking or listening

That’s when I listen… cook them something delicious … pour the wine and 😏 …. After that we hug and I listen some more 😌🥰
