Omgosh! I have a bed spread like that. Mom crocheted it back when I was 14-15. She was always working on it and then one day I went up to my room and it was on my bed. It's heavy. It is one on my prized possession because mom made it for me.

@DeluxedEdition that took mom nearly 18 mo . Country folks made everything. I have a lot of her quilts . Crochet might be a lost art . Basically it’s macramé with needles ( crochet hook) .
