when leaving Walmart

The later unless its like a big appliance or something. But im also not rude about it, theyre just doing their jobs. They probably hate doing it

The day they stop me is the day I immediately turn around and return everything.

Those rare times I'm there, I show them my receipt if they ask. They usually do, since I most always have something that isn't in a bag. Plus, I bring my own reusable bags with me...which is still sometimes looked on 'suspiciously'.

If they ask, I am happy to show them.

Walmart gets an awful lot of shoplifters, and the people doing the checking probably get a lot of abuse in their low-pay jobs.

So I am happy to cooperate.

Its stupid to but I always have because usually when im leaving the store, im either on the phone or im in my zone and so they catch me off guard. But They've only asked to see my receipt if I didnt put something in the bag. Regardless what it is, even for a big bucket of cat litter. But i've always showed them my receipt for just in case if I accidentally left something in the cart I didnt pay for. It happens. It hasnt happened to me yet but I feel like it might one of these days when im super exhausted

Receipt guy wasn't there so I sticky noted mine to the door. 🧾

They do that in Costco

Costco is worse, they want to see your card when you go in, and when you go to pay and then check your receipt when you go out the door.

If you don't go in, you don't have the worry of getting out

shopping at Walmart for years, never had then ask not one time

I have never had to show my receipt. They know me pretty well there

I say phone the Police right now because I want witnesses.

You have to do what

Of course I show them. They are there to prevent people from stealing merchandise, which in turn would force them to raise prices, which would negatively impact me. I don't understand why all the hatred of those people.
